We opened the doors of our pop up shop on Lion Street in Hay on Wye in late June 2021. We've always had a great love for the Town of Books and frequently bunked off college in Hereford to come across to Hay for the day. After working in London and Bristol and then with the arrival of our children, we knew it was time to head back!
Having lived in a village just outside Hay where we started our distillery in 2018, we often talked about the idea of getting a shop to sell our gins in the town from which we could also have some of our distillery equipment so that customers could come in and chat to us while we distil and ask any questions they may have. In June 2021 the opportunity arose and after what had been a trying couple of years (*don't mention the pandemic!*) we opened the doors an in all honesty, hoped for the best!
Our little shop has been a great space for us to meet customers old and new, talk all things gin and distilling and to also showcase other local drinks producers. We've loved meeting everyone, holding tastings and making cocktails!
